A New Take On a Timeless Tradition The Gibson ES-335 is the cornerstone of the Gibson ES™ line-up. From its inaugural appearance in 1958, the Gibson ES-335 set an unmatched standard. The pearloid dot inlay rosewood fingerboard on a hand-rolled Rounded C mahogany neck reminds players where it all started. The body's maple center block helps keep feedback at bay while also improving sustain. What makes this ES-335 a bit different is the pickups. Instead of humbucking pickups, it is equipped with a pair of P-90 single coils for a distinctive tone you won't find in any other 335. The P-90's are paired with our hand-wired control assembly, complete with Orange Drop® capacitors. The result is a new take on that versatile Gibson ES tone that players have craved for over 60 years. Tuning stability and precise intonation are provided by the Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, paired with lightweight Aluminum ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece. A hardshell case is included.
