All of the classic vintage Explorer features have been 100% accurately recreated in this Collector's Edition model, right down to the cases, which are just as historically accurate as the guitars themselves. Featuring an ABR-1 bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece, a korina body, Custombucker pickups, korina neck, Brazilian rosewood fretboard, two volume and one tone control with CTS® pots and a phone book capacitor, gold hardware, Kluson® tuners, and a 4-ply off-white pickguard. It also features Custom Aging by the skilled artisans of the Murphy Lab. The Murphy Lab Custom Aged finish treatment, paired with Custom Aged hardware, simulates decades of light play wear, giving it the unique character, vibe, and feel of an original example from the Gibson Golden Era.
