Like its compadres in the High Five Collection—a Gibson Les Paul Junior Double Cut, an Epiphone USA Coronet, a Gibson Custom Explorer™ Custom, and a Firebird™ Platypus 10-String—the Coronet comes finished in an exclusive new color-shifting heavy flake sparkle set to stun audiences whenever it appears on stage or screen, and celebrating five years of weird and wonderful Mod Collection guitars. Based on the ever-popular platform of the Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s model and handcrafted in Nashville, Tennessee, customizations here include the aforementioned color-shifting finish, which changes color as it moves under lights, plus a gold pickguard and control plates, Top Hat knobs, and black keystone buttons on the tuners. It’s the only guitar in the High Five Collection with a carved top, the contours of which really showcase that exclusive finish.
